Future Surgeons Key Skills - Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh

The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh is running its popular Future Surgeons Key Skills course on the 15th and 16th of April. It is a one day course aimed at senior medical students and FY Trainees (3rd year students can attend but senior students will be given priority). The course is skills based and covers the following:

- Gowning and Gloving

- Suturing

- Wound Management

- Endoscopy

- Handling Instruments

- Knot Tying

- LA Techniques

- Diathermy

- Skin Lesions.

The course costs 75 pounds to attend or 65 pounds if the student is part of our affiliation network. This includes lunch and a certificate of attendance. It will be held in the Skills Lab within the College in Edinburgh.
