St Georges National Orthopaedic Surgery Taster 2011

Following the success of NOST2010, you are invited to the second St Georges National Orthopaedic Surgery Taster (NOST2011). This will be an all day event on Saturday 29th January 2010 in the Postgraduate Centre at St Georges Hospital, London.

The day will comprise a morning of talks from Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons. These talks will address key topics in orthopaedic surgery. Additionally there will be a careers talk from an orthopaedic registrar.

Following lunch, the afternoon will be comprised of three workshops:

- Arthroscopy
- Plastering
- Plating + Nailing

Lunch, Tea & Coffees will be provided.

This is a unique opportunity for medical students to get some real hands on practical experience. The workshops will be supervised by consultants, registrars and technicians.
