Home7th BAPRAS UNDERGRADUATE DAY
The BAPRAS Undergraduate Courses are one-day national events for all medical students interested in finding out more about a career in plastic surgery. The events are intended for all medical students, from first year to finalists.
Attendance is free but we require a deposit of 15.00 to secure a place, which will be returned at registration on the day.
The day will consist of presentations by consultant plastic surgeons, including:
- Introduction to plastic surgery
- Skin Cancer
- Research in plastic surgery
- History of plastic surgery
- Paediatric plastic surgery
- Aesthetic surgery
- Plastic surgery overseas
- Breast reconstruction
Careers advice and medical electives Students will also be given the opportunity to practice plastic surgical skills on manikins. All students will receive a certificate of attendance for their portfolio
